1.1. What is the SAT test?
The SAT is used to assess a candidate’s general natural and social knowledge and is used for admission to many universities in the United States. The SAT is owned by the College Board, a private nonprofit corporation in the United States, and administered by the Educational Testing Service.
The SAT exam is held internationally 7 times a year, in March, May, June, August, October, November, and December. Each state and university in the United States will require the submission of SAT scores at any time based on the situation.

The SAT will be held 100% online starting in 2023 globally and 100% online in the United States starting in 2024.
The test time for the online version of the SAT is 2 hours, which is shorter than the traditional test (3 hours).
Although the exam is conducted online, candidates still need to go to the designated exam location as before.
2. SAT test structure
After canceling the composition test, the 2021 SAT test consists of two subjects: mathematics and reading and writing. At the same time, the test time is shortened to 3 hours, and the score line is reduced from 400 points to 1,600 points.
The 2 subjects include 4 parts: mathematics without computers (25 minutes), mathematics with computers (55 minutes), reading (65 minutes) and writing (35 minutes). In addition, candidates will have two breaks of 5 minutes each before the computerized math test and before the writing test.
